I see screen #2 does not use the wires for TX or RX on serial port 3 (
yellow/orange and yellow/violet wires from SV-D1000 ) so I'm going to try
those.

I haven't looked yet if screen #1 has those same wires available ( it
should but don't want to assume... )

It occurs to me that if you can do a Sunday morning pickup I can sign off
Sept 1st instead of August 31st.
