I am not sure the port has purchased it yet. But I t= hink they finally agreed to the offer of sale.

D= an and Kelly valued the railroad land as the same value of the most valuable= portion of the land along wheeler road but also including the loss of value= of the land that would then be separated from wheeler rd.

The whole piece of property would have= been commercial land sold by the sqft, but once separated from wheeler road= by the RR, the end piece would be farmland sold by the acre

They had an appraisal but they did a crap job. They valued the remainder as if the parcel was already split by the RR so they only valued the remainder as having L road frontage when without the railroad it is part of a parcel that has wheeled frontage.

So Dan valued it all as having wheeler frontage and told them accept that value or see you in court. Never threaten a retired attorney that is looking for something to do.
